The Department of Commerce organised Samvaad 1.0, a lecture series in collaboration with the Indian Accounting Association, Guwahati Branch on 11th September, 2026 with particpants from educational institutions across the State of Assam. Around 95 students and faculty members attended the event. Sjt. Padmapani Bora, IRS. Commissioner & Secretary, Information and Public Relations Department, Government of Assam delivered the keynote address on the theme "Business and Society-Preparing Students for Nation Building".
